Hyacinth

Overheard at the Gibson household yesterday:
"Honey, if I save up enough money would you object to me buying a new lens?"
"No."
"Kristen, order me the lens."

So today I tried her lens out to see if I really want to indulge in such a purchase. I love the shots she's been getting with it, but then again, she knows what she is doing.

Light in the Dark

We had a pretty nasty thunderstorm on Saturday evening and Sunday. We lost power from 5:00 pm Saturday evening until 7:00 Sunday morning. My vast collection of candles came in very handy. These are pix of a little candle lamp in my bedroom with reflections in the mirror.

Piles 'O Snow

So this is where all the excess snow goes to melt. Happy spring thaw to those at the bottom of the hill.
